Description

This is an extraordinary puzzle by Schmidt. The title is Historic Map of the World, and it is very difficult to find in new condition, like this one. Although there is no reference to the cartographer in the box, the author is Willem Blaeu.

The puzzle is NEW, still in the FACTORY SEAL. There are some tears to the seal on the back side which has led to some shelf wear to the box, as you can see in the photographs.

In 1994 Ravensburger published a 3000 piece version of this same map with the title World Map, 1665.
