Description

Educa manufactured this puzzle in 1996 and it is the second edition of this puzzle. The first edition appeared in 1995 with a slightly different box design. It has been during some time the largest jigsaw puzzle version of the Sistine Chapel, by Michelangelo. Later, Educa published a 18000 piece version.

This puzzle is COMPLETE, as you can see in the photograph of the puzzle assembled. The pieces are in very good condition, although some of them show variations of color on the back (brown/green). The box is in good condition, with some shelf wear and a tear on a corner fixed with tape. The poster is in good condition.

Since this is probably the most famous artwork by Michelangelo, there are different puzzle versions in the market in different sizes. However, this one by Educa is particularly rare. In the altar wall of the Sistine Chapel, you can find the fresco of the Universal Judgement.
