Pomegranate manufactured this beautiful puzzle in 2008. It is extremely rare. The title of the painting is Crystal Palace and Its Grounds at Sydenham, London, by James Duffield Harding.

J. D. Harding was a landscape painter and lithographer who also wrote popular teaching books on drawing and painting. You can admire the original painting at the British Architectural Library’s Drawing Collection (RIBA).

The original Crystal Palace was built for the Great Exhibition in 1851 which lasted five months. Later, they relocated the palace from its original site to Sydenham, London. A fire destroyed it in 1936.

The puzzle is NEW, with its original FACTORY SEAL

Waddingtons published this delightful puzzle in 1990. The title is The Travelling Magistrates, by C. Shields. In cartoon style, it depicts a times in old days when magistrates used to travel from town to town around Britain dispensing justice. It is still sometimes found but is very difficult to find in new condition. The puzzle is NEW, with sealed plastic bag but no outer cellophane wrapping. The box  is in excellent condition with a crease to lid at bottom left corner.
