This is a beautiful and rare puzzle by Pelikan. The title in the box The Country Wedding, by Pieter Brueghel the Younger. He completed several paintings that are almost identical and have very similar titles, like Wedding Dance, Peasant Dance, Peasant Wedding, or Wedding Dance in the Open Air. He copied most of his paintings from his father, Pieter Bruegel the Elder.
The puzzle is COMPLETE (1500 pieces). The pieces are in very good condition. The box is in very good condition as well, except for two tears in the lid and some writing inside.
Ricordi published a 1500 piece puzzle with another version of the painting.
