Description

This is a wonderful puzzle by Pomegranate. The title is The Victory of Alexander the Great, by the German artist Albrecht Altdorfer.

Altdorfer was the most significant painter of the Danube School (16th century in Southern Germany). This picture is perhaps the finest example of his work. The painting can be viewed at Alte Pinakothek in Munich, one of the oldest art galleries in the world with an important collection of Old Master paintings.

The puzzle is BRAND NEW, with its original FACTORY SEAL.

There are several puzzle versions of this painting. One of the most important ones is the 3000 piece version that Ravensburger published in 1981.
